National Council Of State Agencies For The Blind
NCSAB 2007 Fall Conference
October 31-November 2, 2007
Dear Colleague,
The National Council of State Agencies for the Blind (NCSAB) will host its 2007 Fall Conference on October 31 through November 2, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency in San Antonio, Texas. The theme of the conference will be 'Closing the Deal -- Making the Employment Connection'.
The NCSAB is extending an invitation to persons interested in participating on a panel or giving a presentation on great practices, procedures or initiatives that you have in place to ensure that blind and visually impaired consumers are hired and able to sustain their employment.
Please submit panel interests and presentation proposals to Vito DeSantis our Conference Coordinator at Vito.DeSantis@dhs.state.nj.us.
The deadline for submission of panel interests or proposals is July 23, 2007. If you have any further questions, please contact Mr. DeSantis at 973-648-2324.
Proposal Submission Details
Individuals interested in submitting a proposal for the conference should use the following guidelines: Each proposal should address the
following:
* Title of presentation
* Name and contact information of lead presenter
* Name and contact information of additional presenters
* Presentation abstract: Provide a summary of the proposed presentation that explains the focus and major points of the presentation.
Abstract should not exceed 200 words in length.
